MOORE, KENNETH WAYNE, 80, of Alabaster, Alabama passed away Tuesday morning, August 9, 2011 at his home. He was born and raised in Bessemer, Alabama and was retired from Texaco, where he served 33 years finishing as superintendent. The U.S. Navy Veteran was a long-time member of First Baptist Church of Pelham, Alabama. Kenneth was preceded in death by his father, John Moore, and his mother, Elaine Whittle Moore. Survivors include Kenneth's wife of 37 years, Delilah Moore; two sons, Kenny Wayne Moore (Paulette) of Dallas, Texas, and Jason Moore (Brandy) of Pelham; two daughters, Felicia Pitts (David) of Dallas, Texas, and Stacy Snow (Mike) of Gardendale, Alabama; 11 grandchildren, Michael Moore, Stephen Moore, Zachary Snow, Cassie Snow, Brittney Snow, Austin Moore, Ashleigh Moore, John Moore, Alana Rodriguez, Joe Rodriguez, and Solon Pitts; and five great-grandchildren. The visitation will be from 10-11:30 a.m. on Friday, August 12, 2011 at Ridout's Southern Heritage Funeral Home in Pelham, followed by the graveside service at 12 noon the same day at Highland Memorial Gardens, Bessemer.
