Jack Edwin McGuire, 66 of Pelham, AL passed away Thursday, 9-23-2021. He was born October 16, 1954. He is survived by his wife Rita and son Shannon. He has 2 grandsons, Liam and Shiloh. He is also survived by brothers, Roy (Sarah) McGuire, Sylacauga, AL & Fred (Lynn) McGuire, Pelham, AL. He was preceded in death by his parents Gene & Louise McGuire as well as one sister Brenda McGuire.
Jack was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and a friend to many. He was well known for his passion and expertise in all of his hobbies including Alabama football, Longmire and Harley Davidsons. Never meeting a stranger, he got to know many of the authors, producers and people that made up his favorite hobbies.
He was a salesman at heart and loved to talk with anyone about anything. Driving his love and patience for others was his faith in Christ. As a member of Indian Springs First Baptist Church, he actively managed the cemetery. Loved by many he will surely be missed.
Services will be Wednesday, September 29th at Southern Heritage Funeral Home. Visitation begins at 10:00 am followed by service at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at Southern Heritage Cemetery.
