Henry graduated from the University of Alabama in 1975 with his Bachelor Degree in History. He completed his education for his law degree from Cumberland School of Law at Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama. His professional career in law spanned 29 years, during which he was a founding member and president of the Attorneys Insurance Mutual of Alabama, Inc.
In his leisure, Henry enjoyed studying history, raising dogs, and listening to classical music. He is survived by many friends and his canine companion, Bonnie. He was predeceased by his parents, Sophie Sylvie Wiernicki Henzel and Walter Henzel, and his canine companion of 17 years, Forrest.
The graveside service for Henry Henzel will be at 2 p.m. on Sunday, November 26, 2023 at Southern Heritage Cemetery, 475 Cahaba Valley Road, Pelham, AL 35124.
