He was born in Cedartown, Georgia on January 7, 1944, to the late Thomas Julian and Geraldine Vincent. After graduating from The Citadel, he went on to work as a Electrical Engineer for Kimberly-Clark. Dennis was an athlete his entire life and enjoyed all sports, later becoming an avid golfer. His greatest joy was being a grandfather.
Dennis is preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Jimmy Paul Vincent; and his brother-in-law, Thomas Brock.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of almost 57 years, Marilyn S. Vincent; his adoring daughter, India Vincent (Bill McKinnon); his grandson, Vincent McKinnon; his brother, Gary Vincent (Ruth); his sister, Rebecca Brock; and his sister-in-law, Sandra Vincent.
A memorial service will be held at Ridout's Southern Heritage Funeral Home on Thursday, December 7, 2023, at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in honor of Dennis be made to the American Diabetes Association or the Alzheimer's Association.
