Bobbie Nell Culpepper Crowe passed away at 98 years old. She is preceded in death by her husband, Louie Crowe, her 3 brothers (Otis, Johnnie, and Reedie), her only sister (Tressa Broadhead), 3 step- brothers Arthur, Ensley, and Luther, one stillborn baby, one baby lost in infancy, and her only son to reach adulthood, Ken Crowe.
She is survived by her granddaughters Erin Haynes (husband Brandon) and Erica Sweatt, her niece Diane Doyle ( husband Brian), nephews Les Culpepper (wife Angela), Ralph Crowe (wife Mary Helen), Clark Culpepper (wife Landa), and her great-grandsons Emery and Ezra Haynes. As well as many other loved family members.
Born and raised in Clanton County, AL, Bobbie was a woman of Baptist faith and maintained membership at Lakewood Baptist Church until her health declined. She enjoyed the bible study group at her assisted living facility and occasionally playing bingo. Some of her favorite things included spending time with family and friends, walking around and shopping, and indulging in sweet treats, her favorites of which were ice cream and candy. Bobbie had a kind, caring and independent spirit. She lived a long and loving life and though she will be missed, her loved ones feel blessed to know she has found peace.
Per Bobbie's request, a graveside service for family will be held at on at 10:00 A.M. on Monday, March 11 2024, at Southern Heritage Funeral Home and Cemetery, located at 475 Cahaba Valley Rd, Pelham, AL 35124, where she will be laid to rest with her husband and son.
Bobbie would not want anyone to waste money on flowers which she wouldn't be able to enjoy, but if anyone is feeling the spirit of generosity, the family would suggest a donation to your preferred charity in Bobbies name.
