Barbara Ann Grason, of Portland, Oregon, was born on February 7, 1941. Barbara went to be with the Lord on January 19, 2020. She is preceded in death by her parents, Selem and Ann Larson; her son Mark Grason, her grandson William Grason; and her brother, Paul A. Larson.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Grason whom she was married to for 56 years; son, Tom Grason; daughter-in-law, Sharon Grason; two granddaughters, AnnMarie and Emma Grason; one grandson, Adam Grason (wife, Christina) two great grandsons, Harper and Finn Grason and one daughter, Amy Lynn Grason Jordon.
Barbara attended Marycrest Catholic High School in Portland, Oregon. She worked for Northwest Bell as an executive secretary. Barbara was a member of Our Lady of The Valley Catholic Church in Birmingham, Alabama where she was a member of the Lady Auxiliary and various other ministries. Barbara publicly was a volunteer at Brookwood Shelby Baptist for 13 years and continued her work and influence to a state volunteer officer position. She devoted numerous years volunteering for different organizations including meals on wheels and translating books into braille for the blind.
The family would like to give a special acknowledgement to Southern Care Hospice for the excellent care and comfort they gave to Barbara in her final days.
