Ashley Moore Norris

Ashley is survived by her loving husband, Yates Patrick Norris, her daughter, Faulkner Ann (4) and son, Jackson Yates (3). She is also survived by her parents, Jon Ashley Moore and Debbie Howdyshell Moore and her brother, Ewing Jones Moore, III (Ashley). Other survivors include father-in-law, Patrick Norris, sister-in-law, Savannah Norris, brother-in-law, Kyle Norris, grandmother-in-law, Opal Norris Those also left to cherish her memories are aunts: Sharon Bettius, Celia Kramer (William), Becky McPherson (Chuck), Sheena McGowan (Pat), uncles: Clay Walton (Lisa), Lex Walton (Terri), twenty first cousins and countless friends.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Dr. Ewing Jones Moore, Jr and Nina Spinks Moore, maternal grandparents, Wanda Lee Ragsdale, Alexander Gunn Walton, Ann Simpson Walton and Eldon Wayne Howdyshell. She is also preceded in death by her mother-in-law, Heather Hollis Norris.

Ashley was born March 7, 1994, in Selma, Alabama. She was dedicated, baptized and married at First Baptist Church Selma. She graduated from John T. Morgan Academy in 2012 and received a BS in Accountancy from Auburn University in 2016. While at Auburn, she was a member of Alpha Gamma Delta sorority. She became a Certified Public Accountant and worked as a tax manager for Deloitte in their Atlanta and Birmingham offices.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made, in her memory, to Vestavia Hills Baptist Church or O’Neal Comprehensive Cancer Center at UAB.
