William Robert Lash

Born January 30, 1978 in Peoria, he was the son of William Arthur and Roberta Lynne (Wood) Lash.

Surviving are his parents of Pekin; his aunts, Eva Groat of Pekin and Donna Morgan of Middlegrove; his uncles, Mike (Melody “Aunt Lucy”) Lash of Pekin and Lester (Anita) Wood of Pekin and his “brothers”, Stevie Stout, Josh Perrill and Bryson (Wendy) Wood, all of Pekin.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Pete and Dorothy Gudzinskas and Robert and Beatrice Lash; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

He last worked as an environmental tech at OSF Healthcare and previously had worked at Morton Metalcraft building John Deere Feeder Houses, Pinnacle as a vinyl fence fabricator and as a butcher at a small meat locker in Farina.

An avid reader, Billy enjoyed family gatherings and going to the cabin in Blandinsville. He also enjoyed hunting, watching football on Sunday, working on his 1970 Monte Carol, building Legos and working with leather.

No services are planned. Cremation has been accorded by Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.
