Born September 16, 1934 in Advance, Missouri to Russell Truman and Wilma Lorene (Kinder) Revelle, she married Denton Deverne Watson on March 3, 1951 in Pekin. He survives.
Also surviving are five sons, Russell L. (Leslie) Watson of Green Valley, Denton D. “Denny” (Norma) Watson of Collins, Iowa, Randy D. (Gail) Watson and Gary R. (Michelle) Watson, both of Manito, and Michael D. (April) Watson of Green Valley; one daughter, Lisa A. (Todd) Bailey of Forest City; fourteen grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one sister, Joyce (Herman) Towery of East Peoria.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three grandchildren, one great-grandson, and one brother (Virgil Revelle).
A homemaker, Wanda had also owned and operated the Green Lantern Restaurant in Green Valley for several years.
Wanda enjoyed playing bingo and cards, and crocheting.
Her funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday, September 1, 2008 at the Preston-Hanley Funeral Home, Pekin Chapel. Pastor Wayne Kinder will officiate. Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Forest City Cemetery in Forest City.
