He was born August 13, 1961 in Aurora, Colorado to Robert D. Evans and Virginia (Green) Soper. He was preceded in death by his father. He was also preceded in death by his step father, Harold Soper; one sister, Denise Kay Evans; one brother, Faron Brice Evans and one step-brother, Paul D. Soper.
Surviving are his mother, Virginia Soper of Pekin; one daughter, Leanne Adele Evans of West Jefferson, North Carolina; two sons, Joel Dale Evans and Dylan Thomas Brice Evans, both of Charleston, South Carolina; one grandchild, Ember Rayne Lacy of West Jefferson, North Carolina; one brother, Bruce (Tracy J.) Colin Evans of Alto, Michigan; one step-sister, Elaine Otto of Faibury; two step-brothers, Ronald Soper and David Soper, both of Fairbury and many nieces and nephews.
Troy was owner/operator of The Pekin Trophy House & Engraved Gifts.
In his free time he enjoyed bass fishing and being outdoors. He also spent time riding his motorcycle. Troy was a talented musician, who sang and played the acoustic guitar. He also loved playing music with his band Full Tilt in Syracuse, New York. He throughly enjoyed spending time with his many friends and his family.
A gathering celebrating Troy’s life will be held at a later date. Cremation has been accorded by Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.
