Terry L Wheeler

He was born January 27, 1981 in Pekin to Lester Larry and Tina Marie (Wolf) Wheeler.

Surviving are his parents, Larry and Tina Wheeler of Creve Coeur; two daughters, Breanna Wheeler and Reise Wheeler, both of Pekin; three sisters, Paula (Albert Cheney) Wheeler of Pekin, Hollie Wheeler of Creve Coeur, and Alison Osborn of Peoria; one brother, Nicholas Wheeler of Creve Coeur; his grandparents, Paul and Karen Wolf of East Peoria; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins including Michael Halsted of Pekin. He also leaves behind a childhood friend who was like a brother to him, Tommy “Son” Tonkin of Pekin.

Terry had worked at Ray Dennison Chevrolet in Pekin as a car detailer for several years. He later worked for Peoria Wilbert Vault Company and Rave Construction in Tremont.

Terry enjoyed fishing and anything to do with weather especially storm chasing. He was Elvis and NASCAR fan.

His visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Thursday, October 23, 2014 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. There will be a time of sharing memories of Terry at 2 p.m. Cremation will be accorded following the visitation.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family to help with funeral expenses.
