Born December 23, 1954 in Pekin, she was a daughter of Paul Bernard and Frances Leigh (Pipkin) Kuhn.
Surviving are one sister, Diane (Steve) Kennedy of Pekin; two nieces, Kate (David Weinstein) Kennedy of Kissimmee, Florida and Marleigh Hope Kuhn of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; one nephew, Riley Paul Kuhn of Mackinaw and her sister-in-law, Teresa Kuhn of Mackinaw.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Paul Kristopher Kuhn and two sisters, Kim Anne Kuhn and Karen Anne Kuhn, in infancy.
A 1972 graduate of Academy of Our Lady in Peoria, Sue graduated in 1975 from Wesley Passavant School of Nursing at Northwestern Hospital in Chicago. Sue worked as a Registered Nurse in Mother/Baby for 45 years first at Northwestern and her last 20 years at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
Sue liked sewing and making crafts. She also enjoyed travel. Sue had an enormous love for her nieces and nephew.
She was a faithful member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Pekin.
Her memorial Mass will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, November 13, 2024 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Pekin. Father Michael Andrejek will officiate. Visitation will be held from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. Wednesday at the church. Inurnment will follow the memorial Mass at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Pekin.
