He was born November 19, 1947 in Pekin to William W. and Mildred L. (Bush) Olsen. His parents and one sister, Margo Bruce, preceded him in death.
Surviving are one son, Steven Allen Olsen, Jr. of Peoria; two brothers, David Olsen of Manito and Bill Olsen of Manito; and one sister, Kathy LeBreton of Bloomington.
Steve had been a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Washington.
He enjoyed reading, swimming, shooting and hunting.
Steve had worked as a truck driver for Wheel Worx, LLC for several years.
His memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. There will be no visitation.
