Ruth J. Astle, 90, of West Peoria, formerly of Mapleton, Illinois, passed away Friday, December 23, 2016 at Heddington Oaks in West Peoria, Illinois. She was born on June 16, 1926 in Mapleton, Illinois to Frank and Grace (Walker) Astle.
She worked many years in the office at Krogers. She was a member of the Red Hat Society and the Mapleton Church.
She is survived by one brother, Paul of Peoria; one niece, Jenny (Daniel) Linder; one nephew, Matthew (Chi). She was preceded in death by her parents.
Memorial services will be held Tuesday, January 17, 2017 at 10:30 AM at the Mapleton Church. The Rev. Paul Oedewaldt will officiate. Cremation rites have been accorded.
