Ronald V. Eldert, Jr, 70, of Pekin, Ilinois, passed away Tuesday, August 28, 2018 in Dunedin, Florida.

Born December 9, 1947 in Pekin to Ron and Dorothy (Harkins) Eldert; he married Connie Petty September 30, 1967 in Bartonville, Illinois.

Ron is survived by his wife, Connie; sons, Terry Eldert of Manito and Jeff (Julia) Eldert of Las Vegas, NV; five grandchildren and a great grandson.

He was retired from IBEW Local #34 in Peoria.

A Celebration of Life will be held 3:00 to 7:00 pm Thursday September 6, 2018 at Bartonville Christian Church, 4900 Pfeiffer Road in Bartonville. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Bartonville Christian Church.
