PEKIN ~ Randall Eades, 65, of Pekin, formerly of Morton, passed away at 2:10 p.m. Friday, June 16, 2017 at UnityPoint Health-Proctor in Peoria.
Born January 8, 1952 in Yakima, Washington to Bill and Lorraine (Stilwell) Eades, he was married to Marcia Storck from 1976 to 1995. He was preceded in death by his father and step-father, Charles “Chuck” Larimore, who helped raise him.
Surviving are his mother, Lorraine Larimore of Pekin; one son, Andrew (Elisabeth) Eades of Peoria Heights; one daughter, Sarah Eades of East Peoria; five grandchildren, Asher, Natania, Gefen, Adina and Zebedee Eades; two brothers, Chucky Larimore of Mackinaw and Stephen Larimore of Creve Coeur; and three sisters, Paula (George) Parry of Manito, Carla (Paul) Gibbs of Pekin and Lisa (Chuck) Horaney of North Pekin.
Prior to his disability, Randall had worked as a truck driver for Star Transport for over 10 years. He had previously worked for Morton Buildings, Todd Uniform Delivery, Kelly Potato Chip, Libby’s in Morton, and Roadway Packaging System (R.P.S.).
He graduated from Mackinaw High School in 1970.
Randall loved to travel and his CB handle was “Stargazer”. He loved astronomy, taking pictures, fishing, bowling and was the “family weather man”. He also enjoyed bird watching and gardening.
He was a Rusty Wallace and Dale Earnhardt, Jr. NASCAR fan. He loved muscle cars, music and reading.
Randy’s great uncle, the famous General Joseph Warren Stilwell, fought in World War I and World War II.
Cremation rites will be accorded. A Celebration of Life will be held, Sunday, October 15, 2017 from 7:00 to 9:30 p.m. at Northmoor Observatory, at Donovan Park, 5805 N. Knoxville Ave., Peoria. Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin is in charge of arrangements.
