Patricia Lynn Tomlinson

Born September 11, 1952 in Peoria to August and Flossie (Picton) Barises, she married Ronald S. Tomlinson on July 20, 1979 in Peoria. He survives.

Also surviving are one sister, Judy (Claude) Milam of Groveland; two nieces, Claudia of Rockville, Indiana and Susan of Mukilteo, Washington; her mother-in-law, Pauline Tomlinson of Pekin; three sisters-in-law, Janet (John) Johnson and Evelyn Tomlinson, both of Pekin and Diane Tomlinson of Auburn, Washington; one brother-in-law, Pastor Allen (Ann) Tomlinson of Merrimack, New Hampshire and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her father-in-law, James L. Tomlinson and one brother-in-law, Aubrey Tomlinson.

Patricia had worked at Multi Ad in Peoria for many years. She last worked at Tri-County Pest Control as vice president and secretary for 14 years before retiring in 2022.

She loved making greeting cards, reading and scrapbooking. She also enjoyed working crossword puzzles and jigsaw puzzles. Patricia also loved flower gardening and working in her yard; her yard was very important to her always wanting it to be perfect.

Patricia was a member of Northwoods Community Church in Peoria.

Her private graveside service will be at Lakeview Cemetery in Pekin. Pastor Brian D. Eatock will officiate. Private family visitation will be at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.
