My most favorite memories of Illinois are those summers when I would visit Aunt Ada and Bev and Larry would pick me up to spend some time camping at the club where they had a camper.  Their generosity and love made my summers so memorable. Larry was a wonderful man who walked the walk through his love for others. His actions spoke volumes of what it is to be a good person. He will be missed by many. Love to the family and know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. Love, Trish Haines Smith

I was very lucky to spend a lot of my childhood with my Uncle Larry and Aunt Beverly.  We had so much fun!  When I think of him, memories include Pouring Concrete, Laying Tile, Fishing, Old Milwaukee Beer, Bocce Ball, His Tomatoes and the Rod & Gun Club! 

My husband, Art, and my kids grew to love him just as I did! We had great fun around him and the all the Verardo’s!  He will be so missed by us and many others. 

So very sorry for your loss. Prayers for the family. Larry and the boys poured our driveway years ago. Still looks good today!

In my youth, my dad and I played many bocci ball games against or with Larry and Benny.  They were a tough pairing.  Bev and Larry were a great couple.  Larry was an outstanding craftsmen as was his father.  The years have brought a separation of paths, but not of respect.  The world needs more like him.  I am sorry for your loss…a loss for everyone.

I couldn’t have asked for a better brother-in-law. Larry and my sister, Beverly, lived next door to my family which was wonderful. Our kids grew up together and are still close. I will miss walking across the yard for chats. He was one of the best and we will miss him terribly. 

Sorry to learn we lost a good friend and neighbor! So many fond memories of times shared with Larry and his family.

Larry, back row, with his Agnoletti grandparents. Larry was the oldest cousin, like a big brother to all. He was a great guy, always helping other people. After his cousin Dennis died, Larry watched out for Dennis' mom until she died. He did the same with Bev's family. 

So sorry to hear of your dad’s passing! He was a great man. Lots of memories from when we were all growing up on Trivoli  Road . I also forgot how beautiful Bev was . What a great reunion her and Larry had when he joined her !!! Hugs and prayers to all the great memories. 

I am so sorry for the loss of Larry.  Our family has many precious memories of Larry and Beverly and the family over so many years.  We spent many weekends, vacations, and holidays with them and other family friends.   Our children grew up together.  Larry was always a great friend, father and a perfect gentleman.  He will be missed by so many.  God bless you and your family Larry.

My prayers go out to the Verado family, he installed his work ethic in his sons, they did my driveway 102 e oakly, many years ago while John was still alive, sadly I had to move out of that house, but that driveway is still awesome!! May he rest in peace.

Thoughts and prayers to the Verardo Family. 

Larry was a wonderful cousin. I have many fond memories of him at 
family get togethers for holidays at his parents' (my Auntie Bea and Uncle Benny) house.  But my favorite memory of Larry may be from the early 2000's.  I was in Chicago for business and drove down to Peoria to visit with everyone for the weekend.  I saw Larry and he asked if I wanted to go dove hunting for the afternoon.  I said I didn't have a license, gun, clothes, or anything but I would love to go.  It was Larry and his boys and some of their friends.  Well, Larry and I sat down in the bushes and waited for the dove to fly. He said if a game warden came up, just hand the shotgun to him. We had a really wonderful time visiting and shooting dove.  A memory I still hold very special.  I will miss him.

Summer of 1997 we had a bocce ball match in Peoria while visiting everyone.  Larry and Andrew Haines (10 years old then) won!  Also in photo is Josh Smith and Aunt Ada.
