Larry Joseph Stepanski

He was born April 4, 1950 in Alpena Michigan to Harry and Louise (Partyka) Stepanski. He married Linda Bushart on January 30, 1981, in Tavares, Florida. She survives.

Also surviving are three children, Brandon Timian and Justin Timian both of Pekin and Christina Stepanski of Madison Heights, Michigan; five grandchildren, Zakk Timian, Kirsten Merriman, Dayton Carrington, Dorian Timian, and Victoria Stepanski; three great-grandchildren; one sister, Judy Stepanski and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Dennis and Gary Stepanski.

Larry proudly served his country in the United States Army.

He was a member of Liberty Baptist Church in Pekin, where he attended services with his wife.

Larry worked in the arc shop at Keystone Steel & Wire, retiring after 13 years.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, working in his garage and gardening vegetables and flowers. Larry’s favorite thing was getting to spend time with his grandchildren. He had many special friends he considered to be brothers.

Cremation has been accorded by Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.
