CREVE COEUR ~ Larry Robert Schultz, 68, of 805 Pekin Avenue, passed away at 12:45 p.m. Saturday, April 28, 2007 at his home.
He was born in Creve Coeur on July 13, 1938 to William Raymond and Katherine (Houtekamer) Schultz, Sr. His parents and one brother preceded him in death.
Surviving are two brothers, Ralph E. (Sandra) Schultz of Savannah, Tennessee and William R. Schultz, Jr. of Creve Coeur.
Larry worked for Caterpillar, Inc. as an electrician for 33 years, before retiring in 1990. He loved woodworking and gardening.
He served in the United States Army in Germany from 1961 to 1963.
His funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Preston-Hanley Funeral Home, Creve Coeur Chapel. Chaplain Joel Gray will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral. Burial will be in Swan Lake Memorial Gardens in Peoria. Military honors will be provided by the United States Army and the Tazewell Area Ceremonial Team.
