Ed was an Aflac pioneer. We started about the same time.  I know he assisted MANY associates start and continue in their career.  He was a good friend to me and to many. Ed loved golf and a “drink or two”, but he was always available to listen to your challenges and share life stories. He will be missed for sure by many! RIP

I first met "Louis" at an Aflac meeting in 1992, when he still had the perm hairstyle (Ed would loathe me calling him Louis, as he did his best to keep it hidden from everyone, other than about a handful of people for 3+ decades).
I can hear him chastising my now, but then giving that unforgettable iconic smile and laugh that I'll always remember and treasure.
Ed was a great family man, a great salesman and a great friend. Afternoon briefings at Khoury's, home cooked fried chicken dinners with him and Bonnie, or going out to the Phoenix Club were the best.
I love you and miss you my friend and I hope they welcomed you with fresh White Castle sliders on the way in.

Sometimes in life there are losses. Losses that can't be replaced. Losing you has been so hard to live with. I wasn't ready for you to leave. I would give anything for one more day, one more second. But I've learned to trust unconditional love. Because the one profound thing about death is that love never dies. Some bonds can't be broken, because even though you're no longer here, it lives within me. I carry your heart inside of me. I carry you with me when I discover something new, see something beautiful unfold, and especially on the hard days. Your heart safely tucked in mine. I love you always, forever in my mind and forever in my heart. I will carry you. I hope you are on a beach with grandma enjoying the beautiful views. I'll continue to live every day fearless in honor of both of you❤️

Addressing the loss while on earth of my brother and friend Ed Lantman isn't easy.  
Like Chalk we leave a residue of ourselves by our words and actions that will have an affect on others now and in the future.   You can't touch chalk without a part of it coming with you.  
Like so many that knew Ed while on earth, my life would not be where it is and I would not be who I am without him leaving his imprint of positive blessings, trust, love, commitment, mentorship, charity and tenacity on our lives.   Ed Lantman was a true child of God.

My condolences to all his Immediate and extended family.

I am so sorry for your loss.  Ed , my husband, Bill and I were friends for many years.  There are so many memories, as I go back through the years!!  Those two loved golf and helping each other!  We have a beautiful family room, thanks to Ed and friends!!  The number of laughs we all shared on that project are countless!  Living right across the street from each other made our fun times easy and many!!
I know Ed and Bill are together again.  That makes me very happy🩷
I’ll miss Ed and the way I knew he cared about me and my family.  Some friends are just unforgettable 🩷

I got to know ed when I worked at star transport, he was a super guy he will sadely be missed,sorry for your loss

I’m so sorry to learn of Ed’s death.  My deepest sympathy goes to Eddie and his family.  Years ago, and at the time, my husband and I were next door neighbors to Ed on Pierce St. in Morton.  Our neighborhood consisted of young couples with children.  Some of us in the neighborhood did fun things together such as New Years Eve Parties, a bowling league one year, block parties, volleyball, etc..  RIP, Ed.
