Grace E Fleming

She was born August 20, 1922 in East Prairie, Missouri, to Theodore and Florence (Taylor) Fugate.

She married the love of her life, Arthur Fleming on June 27, 1942. He died March 23, 2007 in Morton.

She was also preceded in death by her parents, and two sons, Ronald and Dennis Fleming.

Surviving are one daughter; Gina Fleming of Creve Coeur, one son; Gary (Evelyn) Fleming of Kansas; also surviving are 7 grandchildren, Janice, Mathew, Denise, Denny, Keri, Evan, Clay.

She was a homemaker of her own home. She also served on the zoning board for over 10 years in Creve Coeur and was active at First Christian Disciples of Christ as the treasury and secretary for many years.

Grace loved her church family. In her free time, she enjoyed baking, sewing, crocheting, and the River Boat Casino. She will be missed by all of her family and friends.

Her funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, February 22, 2020 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Creve Coeur. Pastor Dwight Winnett will officiate. Visitation will be from 9 to 10:45 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Fondulac Cemetery in East Peoria.
