Emma M Moran

Born June 27, 1924 in Pekin to Clarence Henry Rudolph and Elizabeth O. (Kuecks) Bollegar, she married Fredrick Steve Moran on February 21, 1946 in Pekin. He died March 13, 2002 in Peoria. She was also preceded in death by her parents and one brother (Bill Bollegar).

Surviving are two daughters, Barbara A. Wilcox of Covington, Georgia and Marsha M. (Dennis) Gilbert of Peoria; two sons, W. Barry Moran of Chicago and F. Mark (Sue) Moran of Tempe, Arizona; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and two brothers, C. Clyde Bollegar of Morton and Robert D. (Myrna) Bollegar of Peoria.

Emma worked for Kingdon & Naven Engineering and Surveying in Pekin for 20 years, retiring in 1982 as the office manager. Previously, she worked for Caterpillar, Inc. in East Peoria.

She was a former member of Grace United Methodist Church in Pekin.

Emma enjoyed gardening and cooking.

A private family funeral will be held at the Preston-Hanley Funeral Home, Pekin Chapel with burial following at Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin.
