Born June 28, 1971 in Pekin, he was born to Cary L. and Paulette R. (Jackson) Robinson.
Surviving are his mother and stepfather, Paulette and Dale Wagner of Farmington; one daughter, Alex Robinson of Marquette Heights; one grandson, Zahr Robinson; one sister, Kelli (Matthew) McDaniel of Havana; one brother, Todd Robinson of Pekin; a brother-in-law, Mark Hasler of East Peoria; aunts and uncles, Marcia and Russ Lindahl of Pekin and Nona Carroll and two nephews, Cody Stum of East Peoria and Cole McDaniel of Havana and one niece, Kayla Flynn of Havana.
He was preceded in death by his father and stepmother, Cary and Cheryl Robinson; his sister, Jodi Hasler; a niece, Jordan Ashley Stum; his maternal grandparents, Manuel and Alice Jackson and his paternal grandparents, Clarence and Berndine Robinson.
A graduate of Pekin Community High School, Chad was the third generation in his family to work as a plumber. He last worked for Covenant Plumbing in Pekin. His work as a longtime plumber meant a lot to him.
Chad enjoyed boating and fishing and loved spending time with family and friends. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends who will always remember his pleasant smile and friendly disposition.
Chad also was a huge fan of the Ohio Buckeyes.
His memorial service will be at 6 p.m. Tuesday, July 30, 2024 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. Frank Shearer will officiate. Visitation will be from 4 to 5:45 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Cremation has been accorded.
