Beverly Jean Pescaglia

Born November 1, 1938 in Pekin to Ezra Edward and Lucinda Ruth (Milburn) Lasley. She has been previously married to James Pescaglia, Sr.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Judy Crowe and one son-in-law, Dennis Mathias.

Surviving are one daughter, Cindy Mathias of Pekin; one son, James “Bucky” (Cyndi) Pescaglia, Jr. of Rocheport, Missouri; six grandchildren, Kayla Connell, Matthew (Colleen) Mathias, Nicole (Scotty Gregory) Mathias, Tony (Brittany) Pescaglia, KC (Kaitlyn) Pescaglia and Vince (Hannah) Pescaglia; 11 great-grandchildren, Heyden Connell, Rachel Connell, Addison Mathias, Peyton Mathias, Eliana Pescaglia, AJ Pescaglia, Elias Pescaglia; Julianne Pescaglia, Oliver Pescaglia, Zander Gregory and Bodhi Gregory.

Bev worked for Walmart for over 25 years, retiring in 2010.

She enjoyed collecting antiques, baking, cooking, fishing and crafting. She was an avid fan of the St. Louis Cardinals. She loved spending time with her family and attending all of her grandchildren’s activities and sporting events.

Bev was a member of the Junior Women’s Club and involved in the coordinating and planning of her High school Class reunions and volunteered at Upscale Resale- An Assistance League of Mid-Missouri.

Her graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Monday, September 30, 2024 at Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.
