Graveside services will be held at 2:00pm, Monday, December 28, 2020, at Floral Hills Memory Gardens.
She was born November 5, 1940, and was raised in Winston County, Mississippi, where she was a member of the Plattsburg Baptist Church. She married the love of her life, Arvis Franklin Moore, on July 18, 1959, and they were blessed with two children, Eddie and Vicky. Patsy adored her family and took pride in her family and home.
Patsy enjoyed a lengthy career in retail, serving customers for several stores and pharmacies over the years.
Patsy was a talented artisan and enjoyed crafting in many mediums. After she learned to sew she became more interested in quilting and created beautiful pieces with intricate stitches. She also designed many ceramics and porcelain dolls. In more recent years she had a keen appreciation for beadwork, styling charming jewelry and Christmas ornaments. Her creativity and vision were evident in all of her art work.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd Hamilton and Vinnie Ruth Withers Hamilton; son, Eddie Arvis Moore; grandson, Charles Austin Moore; and brothers, Jerry and Terry Hamilton.
Survivors include her husband of 61 years, Arvis Moore; daughter, Vicky Moore; sisters, Jean Parker, Hilda Clark, and Tommie Hamilton; granddaughters, Samantha Moore, and Brittany Ware; and great-grandchildren, Caileigh Moore, Zoe Ware, Isaiah Ware, and Alice Ware.
