Larry Douglas Jones

The family will receive friends from 12:00pm until 2:00pm on Saturday, December 16, 2023 at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl. The funeral service will follow at 2:00pm that same day in the funeral home chapel with burial afterwards at Floral Hills Memory Gardens.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Elbert Houston and Velma Jewell Shirley Jones. Larry was one of twelve siblings, and he was preceded in death by siblings, Elbert "Jr" Jones, Fayrene Jones, Opal Pendarvis, Loyd Jones, and Jimmy Glen Jones. In addition, preceding Larry in death was his bonus son, Ted Joseph "Joey" Johnson, Jr.

Survivors include his wife of 37 years, Betty Ann Jones; son, Michael Jones (Kristie) of Brandon, Mississippi; daughters, Glenda Ainsworth of Pearl, Mississippi and Shannon Jackson of Pearl, Mississippi; bonus son, Jimmy Johnson of Pearl, Mississippi; grandson Ted Joseph "TJ" Johnson, III; brothers, Ruben Jones (Norma) of Gilmer, Texas, Marshall Jones (Claudia) of Brandon, Mississippi, Curtis Jones (Madeline) of New Diana, Texas, Donald Jones (Ann) of Florence, Mississippi and Lonnie Jones (Laura) of Longview, Texas and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
