Jimmy Dale Whittington, 78, passed from this life Sunday, August 16, 2015 at the Myrtles Nursing Center in Columbia, Mississippi.
Visitation will be 12:00-2:00pm, Saturday, August 22, 2015 at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl. Funeral services will follow at 2:00pm in the funeral home chapel with interment in Floral Hills Memory Gardens.
Jimmy Dale was born Sunday, September 20, 1936 in Jackson, a son of the late A.S. Whittington and Amelia Kendall Whittington. He was a member of the Methodist faith and a graduate of Pearl High School. Jimmy Dale retired after several years as a house painter. His favorite times were spent with family and friends, entertaining them with his humorous stories and quick wit.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Dorothy Whittington.
He is survived by his family and friends, who were all blessed to have had Jimmy Dale touch their lives.
