Please join Hunter’s family to share memories and celebrate his life on Tuesday, June 4, 2019, from 5:00pm until 7:00pm, at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl.
Hunter was born June 1, 2002, in Jackson, Mississippi. Hunter was preparing for his upcoming senior year at McLaurin High School, and was planning, following graduation, to attend school to become a lineman. He was employed by Backyard Burger in Flowood.
Hunter had an incredibly close relationship with his family, particularly his parents. He and his Dad enjoyed many special times together, hunting, fishing, and watching sci-fi movies. Very loving and protective of his Mom, Hunter felt it was his responsibility to assist her and to be the “man of the house” while his Dad worked night shifts. Hunter loved music and spent many hours playing his guitar.
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Steve Mitchell, and Thomas Jones.
Survivors include his mom and dad, Angel and Randy Barlow; father, Danny Jones; brothers, Corey Edwards, Chance Jones, Jonathan Brooks (Valerie), and Austin Sandifer; sister, Lacey Sandifer; grandparents, Jeanne Mitchell, Linda Lee, and Tim and Peggy White; aunts, Dawn Morgan, Christy Phillips, Debbie Hill, and Betty Hodge (Mike); uncles, Dewayne Mitchell (Tanya), Brian Mitchell (Carla), Kem Morgan (Amber) , T.J. White (Jill), and Dr. Andy Barlow (Faye); and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Always concerned for those alone and in need, Hunter’s family requests memorials be made in his honor to any organization that supports foster children, such as www.fostercoalition.org or www.adoptuskids.org.
