Dorothy Prestage Meadows

Visitation will be 5:00-8:00pm Friday, August 9, 2013 at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl. Funeral services are 2:00pm Saturday, August 10, 2013 in the funeral home chapel with interment in Andrew Chapel Cemetery.

She was born May 16, 1928 in Scott County, a daughter of the late Harry and Olivia Squires.

A loving mother, grandmother and homemaker, she was very active in Andrew Chapel Methodist Church, where she sang in the choir and served on several church committees. She was known as “Granny Dot” to most in the Andrew Chapel community and will be missed by all.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by husbands, E.B. Prestage and William H. Meadows; brother, Jack Squires; and sister, Beatrice Thompson..

Survivors include daughter Linda Coy and husband Robert; grandchildren, Chris Coy and wife Shannon and Andy Coy and wife Shawn; great-grandchildren, Jeffrey Coy, Jessie Coy and Austin Churchill; and brothers, Merle and Wayne Squires.
