Graveside services will be held at 1:00pm, Tuesday, March 19, 2024, at Floral Hills Memory Gardens in Pearl.
She was born May 1, 1939, in Natchez, Mississippi, a daughter of the late Leslie Daniel Buckles and Thelma B. Williams Buckles. Barbara loved children and she worked for many years in child care with a daycare/school. In her free time she enjoyed crocheting and tending to the beautiful flowers of her garden.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon Furlow.
She is survived by son, Kevin Furlow; daughter Betty Williams and husband Dwight; sister, Helen Veal; granddaughter, Brooke Williams Lindgren and husband Matt; great-granddaughter, Leighton Lindgren; "adopted daughter", Amanda Kruznetsov; and her beloved canine companions, Max and Bailey.
