She graduated from Troup County High School with full scholarship and was voted "Best All Around" by the graduating class. Sue had a deep love and commitment to family. Instead of college, she chose to go to work to help her mother. Later she moved towards Atlanta to start a family of her own while pursuing a career. Sandra retired as an Operations Officer after 30 years from Trust Company Bank. She enjoyed her retirement by spending time with family, friends, charities and her community.
Sue was a member of Peachtree City United Methodist Church. Her love for Christ and the church never waived. Therefore, it is fitting that her cremated remains will be scattered at Garden of Celebration behind her church at 225 Robinson Road, Peachtree City, GA 30269 on November 1, 2024 @ 12 PM.
Sue is survived by her daughter Laura Everett; her twin brother Wilbur Jeter, Jr.; her granddaughter Brooklyn Everett.
She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Carpenter; her father Wilbur Jeter and her mother Mattie Ruth Lambert; her sisters Mary Stallings, Lillian Jeter, Martha "Mot" Price; and her brother George Jeter.
Sue leaves behind many friends to cherish her memory. She will always be remembered as the sweetest soul on earth who loved her family and friends dearly.
