Mrs. Joyce Epps

Joyce Epps, age 72, a resident of Doctors Hospice of Georgia in Fayetteville, GA entered Glory on Tuesday, August 10, 2010. She was born on March 6, 1938 in Bethesda, MD. She is preceded in death by her husband, Norman Epps, Sr., her son, James Epps, and a brother-in-law, Harold Moody. Her children arise and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her; “Many women do noble things, but you surpass them all.” Proverbs 31:28-29. She is survived by her sons, Ronald Epps and daughter-in-law, Andrea, Norman Jr. Epps and daughter-in-law, Charlotte Epps; daughter-in-law, Tonya Epps; grandchildren, Virginia Acker, Adam Epps, TJ Epps, Justin Epps, Jeremy Epps, Alison Epps; great-grandchildren, Chevy Epps, Knox Acker, Harleigh Acker; sister and brother-in-law, Judy and Roger Taylor; sister-in-law, Delores Moody; many beloved nieces and nephews; and her church family at Slater Church of God. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 14, 2010 at 12:00 noon at Slater Church of God in Marietta, SC. Visitation will be Friday, August 13, 2010 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at The Howze Mortuary in Travelers Rest, SC.
