In Loving Memory of Jean Williams (Mama)

Today, I stand with a heavy heart as we remember and honor the life of Jean Williams, affectionately known as Mama. To many, she was a pillar of strength, kindness, and compassion. To me, she was more than a friend’s mother—she was like a second mom.
From the moment I met her, Mama welcomed me with open arms and a heart full of love. She made me feel like I was part of her family, taking me into her home and treating me as one of her own. Her house became a place of warmth, where laughter filled the air, and there was always a seat at the table. No matter the circumstances, Mama made sure I knew I was cared for and loved.
Her kindness and generosity were endless. Whether it was offering a listening ear, comforting me in tough times, or simply sharing her wisdom and guidance, Mama was always there. She gave freely of herself, expecting nothing in return, simply because she cared so deeply for the people around her.
Mama had a way of making everyone feel special. She saw the good in others and always encouraged those around her to see the same in themselves. Her words were gentle but powerful, her smile infectious, and her love unwavering. She had an extraordinary gift for turning ordinary moments into cherished memories, and for that, I am forever grateful.
As we mourn her passing, we also celebrate the incredible legacy she has left behind—the love, kindness, and strength that she showed in her every action. Mama taught us how to love deeply, how to be there for one another, and how to create a family that extends beyond bloodlines.
Mama’s memory will live on in our hearts, in the lives she touched, and in the love she so freely gave. She may no longer be with us in person, but her spirit will remain a guiding light in our lives forever.
Rest in peace, Mama. Thank you for everything. You will always be loved, cherished, and missed.

Mama Jean was truly a remarkable woman of God. Her life was a testament to unwavering faith, selfless service, and boundless love. She devoted herself to uplifting others, building people up with her words of encouragement and always offering a hand in times of need. Her home was a place of warmth and comfort, and I’ll never forget those visits when she cooked the most delicious meals, especially her famous fried dumplings—they were absolutely to die for! Her presence will be deeply missed, but the legacy of love, service, and faith that she leaves behind will live on in all who were blessed to know her.

It is with great sadness that I am writing  this.   Mama G, was a true GEM!   I pray for strength, solace, and peace  in this our time of bereavement. 

I will always love her and remember  the good  times.  The encouragements. The genuine  love, care and concern she showed.  The admonition at devotions.  So...... many good  things!!

My favorite memory with Miss Jean was definitely on Sundays. Her enthusiasm to go to church was always so inspiring. She had an unwavering love for God and it was even more evident when she spent time in the presence of God. When she knew the songs she would sing and dance along and even when she didn’t know it, she was still dancing. That is a memory that will forever be etched in my mind.

The loss of a Mother is one of the greatest losses in LIFE. Her LOVE never truly leave us. She left us Beautiful Memories, & her LOVE is still our Guide. A Mother's LOVE is Strong & Deep. Filling us with Memories to Cherish & Keep. Let the Memories of Miss G fill our Mind, & warm our Hearts. Our Deepest Sympathy!

This lady is one example of a true Christian ,it’s been a pleasure knowing her.  Sleep well in the arms of the Lord Miss G .

My dear Aunt, Jean Williams, will be greatly missed.  However, she'll be remembered for her love for God and everyone, her care and impartiality. A woman who treated everyone equally. I'm so grateful to God for her.

Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies,  this is Miss G.  She was a caring, helpful, a counsellor, nurse, a friend to man and a child of God. She was a real christian woman, who believe and trust in God.  She will be truly missed but God knows best. She is resting waiting for the great getting morning. As she sleep let us be ready for Christ second coming.

Oh my mother, G, she was such a humble but firm mother.  A great woman if God
Two memories of her, when I had my son Jay-Vis at 6 weeks old . Mother looked after Jay , Friday night all night prayer meeting,  for me to go and pray with the young people at Gregory Park New Testament church of God. Until the Saturday morning . That was a night I will never forget. 
We went to Faith Temple at the small  church to pray that night to encounter God. To be filled with the over flow of the Spirit. So many young people got filled with the Holy Ghost that night..It was amazing.

Secondly , as a big sister , I usually cook for the family on a Sunday evening , with Mark helping me, while mom and dad were away. We really had our family dinner.
One year when mommy came home she brought a Big strong pressure cooker for me. I have it up to now as a memorabilia. 
I love mom dearly when she adapted my family
I am the big daughter from 65 Waltham Park Road. New Testament Church of God. We came right into their hands. Praise God.
She was  devoted, dedicated, loving , always have a smile.
I will ever take some of her attributes to live forever with my own children and grandchildren .
May her soul rest in the arms of Jesus

So many warm memories of mommy in my younger years, she always had a warm welcoming smile and a sweet song. 

My fondest one is visiting Jamaica on my own when I was 16 knowing that I did not have to second guess where I would be able to spend my time with a yummy meal. 

May you rest in Peace 🙏🏾 🕊 your warmth will be missed greatly.

Mommy was a stalwart of faith.  I admired her for her strength, her faith and the love she had for God. Mommy's journey throughout the  years  have been  extraordinary. Her enduring love ,prayer  guidance and support  has been the cornerstone  for the  family. Mommy steadfast  faith has been my source of strength and  inspiration. Mommy thought me what fasting is when I didn't  understand she sat me down  and explained it to me. I must  say it's a tool I am still using. Each time before I fast I  humble myself before God, Repent  and then have a  intimate  relationship  with  God as she taught me. Mommy your commitment and beliefs has not only  touched my life but  others who had the privilege of knowing you. I will always  cherish the memories we share and all the 
phone chats we had. Mommy has left her mark  with  me and I'm eternally grateful for the deposit she made in my life and my family. Rest well Mommy, your daughter,  sister Michelle.  Blessed and Highly Favor
