Margaret Ella McCain, age 95 of Newark, passed away on January 1, 2015 at the Autumn Healthcare in Newark. She was born on November 18, 1919 in Vandalia Ohio to the late Harry Read and Edna Lucile (Gaines) McCain.
Margaret worked for the State of Ohio and retired from AEP after 25 years of service. She loved to travel, especially with her sister Charlotte to Hawaii among other places. Margaret is preceded in death by her brother Harold and her sisters Mary, Charlotte, and Esther. She is survived by her nephew Don Mantor and niece Jane Mantor, great nieces Terry, Debbie, and Vickie; great-great nephews Ryan, Justin, Roy and Rusty, great-great niece Meagan, and numerous other family members.
There are no services planned. A private inurnment will be held at a later date at the Fern Cliff Cemetery in Springfield, Ohio. An online memorial will be at www.kaubersammons.com. Kauber Sammons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
