Roy William Myers

Roy was born February 6th, 1944 in Los Angeles, California to Dudley and Gertrude Myers. Roy had one sibling an older brother, Richard. His father owned a grocery store and his mother worked in their store.

Roy went to Franklin High School and graduated in 1961. He met the love of his life, Donna, in 1960 on a blind date. The two married on October 22nd, 1964 in Los Angeles, California. They have two children; Kevin Myers and Katherine Myers-Davis.

Roy worked as a grocer and salesman before starting his on distributing business. In 1979 he moved the family to Salinas where he grew a successful business. In 1999 he sold RD Sales & Distributing and retired to Lake Nacimiento. Some of his passions were wood working, golfing, fishing and spending time with his family. Roy was also an active member of the Wood Working Society and Heritage Ranch Senior Center

Roy is preceded in death by father, Dudley, mother, Gertrude, and brother Richard.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife Donna; two children, Kevin, Katherine Myers-Davis (husband Randy); four grandchildren, Anthony (wife Amanda), Joshua (wife Meghan), Lindsay, and Briton; two great-granddaughters; Emma and Kailey; and other loving relatives and friends.

Services will be held this Saturday, March 30th, 2019 at 1:00 PM at the Hilltop Christian Fellowship in Heritage Ranch.
