Robert David Sanner Jr.

Robert “Bob” Sanner Passed peacefully in his Sleep on Monday May 16th 2022. He was born August 23rd 1955 to Freda Elizabeth Ackley and Robert David Sanner SR, In Kansas City, Missouri. He would be the middle child, as there was three boys, older brother Mike La rue and Younger Brother Charley Sanner. After Charley Was born, they headed out west, to California. Where Robert Found his love for Cars, Bikes and anything that went Vroom. It pretty much ran in the family with all the boys, and His dad. Which we can all agree, it drove Freda Nuts. Robert would grow up, helping His dad in the fixing cars and then racing Side hack bikes.

As He got older he took other jobs to help pay for his hobbies, like working for Universal. May we never be able to watch a movie without him saying he worked on that set or how they did this on this film. Or working in drywall with friends. Don’t get him started on old Hollywood or LA in the 60’s and 70’s. However his passion was mechanics.

After an accident on the bike, he came to Paso Robles, where his mom Freda and his step Dad Clarence Sinclair where living. This is where by a happy accident, he would meet his wife of 37 years, Robin Watkins. All because someone promised to her Disneyland. In turn they had two kids, Melissa and Robert the 3rd.

Bob and Robin would grow a family here in Paso Robles, bob would work as a mechanic at different shops, One day he would also own his own show, restoring old cars. But no matter all that he still brought his work home, Driving robin home, any time you saw a tow truck she would say please not my house. He later Retired, and worked from home.

Robert is preceded in death by his Brother Mike, his father Robert Sr, Mother Freda and Step Father Clarence. Survived by his Wife Robin, both children Melissa and Robert. And his Bother Charley Sanner. And one very Special Dog Hot rod.

Bob will be missed by so many friends, and his family.
