He was proceeded in death by his parents, Tomas and Juanita Carmona, his brothers Jesus “Chuy” Carmona, Lucio “Luke” Carmona, his daughter Annette Marie Carmona, and his grand-daughter Ashley Taylor Tipton.
He is survived by his wife Elizabeth Carmona, daughter and son-in-law Michelle & Brad Crow, son & daughter-in-law Thomas lll & Jacqueline Carmona, stepsons Abel Carmona Jr. and Nicholas Carmona, grandchildren Timothy Kyle Tipton, Leland Garrett Tipton, Asa Cordale Tipton and Jaxon Emmett Crow, step-grandchildren Celeste & Wilbert Chavez and Barrett Crow, great grand-daughter Tyla Kay Tipton, and step great grandchildren Luka and Leila Chavez. He is also survived by his brothers Valentine, Lupe and Emilio Carmona, as well as many extended family members and friends.
Tomas graduated from Sam Rayburn High School in 1968 and was drafted into the U.S. military in 1969, proudly serving his country in the United States Army. He followed in his father’s footsteps with a career at the Port Terminal Railroad Association where he worked as a Federal Carman Inspector for 47 and a half years. In his retirement, Tomas enjoyed creating woodworking projects, being a loyal & dedicated sports fan, and took pride in his precision landscaping skills. He loved to explore the world by traveling and making heartfelt memories with his family
