Scott was a graduate of Sam Rayburn High School in Pasadena, Texas and of the University of Houston.
He was preceded in death by grandparents William S. and Opal Harper and Myrle and Ruth DeSart.
Survivors include parents Shelton and Myrleen, brother, Jeffrey, sister-in-law Cathy, nephews Alexander and Jackson, niece Madison, aunts, uncles, friends, and his special buddy Libby.
The family will receive friends on Friday, July 1, 2011, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Grand View Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 2, 2011, at 10:00 a.m. at Grand View Memorial Park Cemetery.
