Pamela JoAnn Woodfin was born to Paul Edwin Lindberg, Sr. and JoAnn Thompson Lindberg on November 23, 1962, and went to be with the Lord on December 18, 2024. Born Pamela JoAnn Lindberg, Pam came to know Jesus at a very young age and was baptized at the Calvary Baptist Church in Texas City, Texas. Pam had a larger-than-life personality. She loved life. She loved people. Pam never met a stranger. She was a kind, giving and very generous person. Pam was also an amazing cook, she loved music and loved to read. She loved animals but had a real passion for small dogs. But at the core of her spirit was her family and her friends who more often than not became her extended family. Pam was a licensed barber who loved to cut hair. She worked as a barber for many years before transitioning into property management where she excelled and became a mentor to many in the industry. Pam, at times, would try to exhibit a rough and tough exterior, but it wasn’t long after getting to know her that her love and compassion would shine through.
Pam is survived by her mother, JoAnn Thompson Waldrip, her brother Paul Edwin Lindberg, Jr. and his wife Elizabeth, brother Joseph Rex Lindberg and his wife, Pam, sister Starla Patterson Turnbo and Charles Emola, cousin/sister from another mother, Tammy Lindberg Fann, and also stepbrother Everett Lee Patterson and his wife Elena, along with many other cousins, nieces, nephews, and countless close friends.
Visitation for Pam will be held in the chapel at First Baptist Church in Pasadena, Texas on Monday, December 23, 2024, at 11:00 AM. Memorial Service will begin at 12:00 PM followed by a graveside service at Grandview Cemetery at 1:00 PM. Donations can be made to the Pasadena Animal Shelter in honor of Pamela Lindberg Woodfin.
