Michael was born in France to David Leon Turner and Gloria A. Baggett. He was raised with his five sisters to have a strong faith in God. His passions included airplanes, the Dallas Cowboys, working on things, and above all, he had a great love for his country. Michael served proudly in the United States Air Force and became a big humanitarian, always looking to help people in any way that he could.
Michael leaves behind his wife of nine years, Ingrid; his mother Betty Turner; his three children - David and Julee Turner, Amanda Turner and Michael Wagner; sisters – Terry, Cindy, Vickie, Sandy and Debra; three grandchildren – DJ, Aleah and Kinsey; numerous nieces, nephews, and many other family and friends.
Services for Michael will be held at Funeraria Del Angel – 901 Main, Pasadena, TX 77506, with burial at Houston National Veterans Cemetery. Visitation will take place on Monday, September 5, 2016 from 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM and a funeral service will commence at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, September 6, 2016.
The family for Michael requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
Winston Churchill said, “We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give”. Michael was a very giving person and he will be missed by many.
