Martha V. Sherrill

She was amongst the first class of female pharmacists at the University of Texas. In 1961 she opened Wade’s Pharmacy with her husband in Pasadena, Texas where it remained active until 1991. Afterwards she had her own pharmacy Southmore West Pharmacy.

She was a member of Saint Augustine Catholic Church in Houston. She is survived by her son, Michael S. Sherrill of Houston; daughter, Marilyn S. Sherrill of Friendswood; grandchildren, Lilly and Trevor Sherrill and several nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral services will be held 10:00am, Wednesday, August 22, 2018 at St Augustine Catholic Church in Houston (5560 Laurel Creek Way, 77017) with burial following at Forest Park Lawndale at 1:30pm. Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at Grand View Funeral Home with a rosary being recited at 7:00pm. Serving as pallbearers will be David Guillot, David Willard, Joe Vachule, Trevor Sherrill, Robert Kelly and Kelly Hejtmancik.
