Marie E. Rose

June 3, 1928-February 5, 2018

Marie Rose long time resident of Houston, Texas went to be with the Lord on Monday evening, February 5, 2018. Marie was born in Honey Grove, Texas to Arthur Carl and Florence Wisdom. She is proceeded in death by her husband Ollie Cecil Rose and her sweet daughter, Annette Yvonne Rose. She is survived by her three sons, Cecil Rose of Houston, Daniel Rose and wife Jill of Houston, Roy Rose and wife Deanie of New Waverly. Marie’s five grandchildren, Pike Rose and wife Patricia, Amanda Mullinax and husband Ryan, Christopher Rose and wife Charmaine, Stephanie Smith and husband Jeremy, Nicole Owens and husband Jason and fifteen great-grandchildren.

Marie was a very talented, highly requested seamstress for over 20 years in the Houston-Pasadena area. She was a longtime member of Allendale Baptist Church. Her favorite pastimes were spending time with family, playing with her puppy, watching old movies and gospel musicals. She will be missed by all that knew her.

A visitation will be held Tuesday, February 13, 2018 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel, 901 Main, Pasadena, Texas 77506. A chapel service will occur Wednesday, February 14, 2018 at 1:00 PM at Houston National Cemetery, 10410 Veterans Memorial Dr, Houston, Texas 77038.
