Loyce Loosmore passed away peacefully while surrounded by her loving family on July 21, 2012. She was born on May 2, 1922 in Groesbeck, TX to John Wesley Beard and Emma Frances Wingard-Beard. Loyce is preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Ben Loosmore, Jr.; 1 daughter, Judy Loosmore; 1 son in law, Henry Dudley; 2 grandchildren, Kenneth Wayne Hawkins, and John Wesley Hawkins; 3 sisters, Bess Polk, Jessie Lammers and Joyce Bjorge; 4 brothers, Orville Beard, J.W. Beard, Howard Beard, and B. C. Beard. She is survived by 1 son, Ben Loosmore, III; 4 daughters, Ilene Dudley, Virginia Rogers and husband Lloyd, Ruth Dudley and husband Jimmie, Karen Hildebrandt and husband Darrell; 2 sisters, Mildred McCants, Nita Jones and husband Joe; 15 grandchildren; and 23 great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends for visitation from 5:00-8:00 p.m. on Monday, July 23, 2012 at Grand View Funeral Home. Funeral Services will take place on Tuesday, July 24, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of Grand View Funeral Home, with interment to follow in Grand View Memorial Park.
