He was born November 29, 1968 at Naval Air Station Whidbey Island, Washington to Larry Dale and Shirley Jean (Kelley) Owens.
Lance graduated from LaPorte High School in May 1987 where he was a member of the National Honor Society.
He was a 27-year career employee of Southwest Airlines and loved his SWA family. His passion was his Ford Mustangs that he enjoyed racing at the drag strip. He also loved airplanes and collected Southwest Airlines memorabilia.
He had a special love in his heart for his daughter Lacee and grandchildren: Rylan and Jaxon. And loved spending time spoiling them.
He was predeceased in death by his father, Larry Owens and stepfather, Brant Morgan.
He is survived by his daughter, Lacee Owens; mother, Shirley Morgan; brothers, Lane Owens, Kenny Karstrom; niece, Ashlynn Karstrom and grandsons: Rylan and Jaxon.
A memorial service celebrating his life will be held at a date to be announced later.
