Johnny Ruth Willingham

Johnny Ruth (McFarland) Willingham died on December 15, 2016 at the age of 93. She was born in Wingate, Runnells County, Texas to Elmer Lee and Mary Rose McFarland. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, two sisters, her infant twin children (Mary and Vida), her husband Howell Ray Willingham (who died in 1997) and her infant granddaughter Wendee Michelle Willingham.

She is survived by her son Glen R. Willingham and his wife Sharon, daughter Gail Raylene Renfrow and her husband Larry, six grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

She was a charter member of South Main Baptist Church of Pasadena, Texas. She taught Sunday school classes for women and children for many years and served in several church positions.

She was a volunteer for twenty-two years at the Strawberry Clinic in Pasadena, Texas, a branch of Harris County Hospital District.

Funeral services will be on Monday, December 19, 2016, 2pm, at Pasadena Funeral Chapel with Dr. Ron Lyles officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.

Honorary pall Bearers: Larry Renfrow, Kevin, Rusty and Robert Willingham, Ryan Renfrow and Tim Drew. Pall Bearers: Bret Drew, Dakota and Austin Willingham, Zachery and Chaz Ferguson and Michael Bloodworth.
