JoAnn Rosenauer “Ma”, is now resting in peace. She was a longtime resident of Pasadena, Texas. She passed away on April 23, 2015 in Pasadena, Texas at the age of 76. She was born January 27, 1939 to Steve and Mary Brazda.
JoAnn worked for several restaurants in her life; she worked for Richard’s Sizzlers Steak House, The Waffle House, Fred’s Grill and City Café, where she retired from. She enjoyed walking at Pasadena Town Square Mall and meeting new people. She was known as “Ma” to many and always loved having friends and family around.
JoAnn is preceded in death by her parents, Steve and Mary Brazda of Schulenburg; her sisters, Margaret Mitchell of Deer Park, Irene Roth Lambert of Friendswood, and Henrietta Cox of South Houston.
She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 57 years, James Rosenauer; daughter, Marietta Peace; sons, James “Jimmy” and his wife Chris and David and his wife Barbara; grandchildren, Todd Blasdel and his wife Sheena, Shayla Peace, Ryan Rosenauer, Tyler Rosenauer, Bruce Rosenauer and Cherie Rosenauer; great grandchildren, Evan and Elijah Coronado, along with many other family and friends.
JoAnn was a strong, sweet, loving mother and will be greatly missed by all. We will truly miss her.
Visitation will be held Friday, April 24, 2015 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm with a Rosary Service to begin at 7:00pm at Grand View Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held Saturday, April 25, 2015 at 2:00pm also at Grand view Funeral Home with Interment to follow at Grand View Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be Todd Blasdel, Ryan Rosenauer, Tyler Rosenauer, Bruce Rosenauer, Terry McHenry and Kevin Lavender.
