Jerry Wayne Walker

Jerry was born March 28, 1960 at the US Army Hospital in Nurnberg, Germany. He was the beloved son of Mary and Jack Walker and is survived by them. Jerry was preceded in death by his loved and cherished wife Lisa Rene’ Walker on June 3, 2010. They were happily married for nineteen years.

Jerry was a graduate of Frank Dobie High School in Pasadena. He was employed by Southwestern Bell and AT&T for thirty-three years.

Jerry was preceded in death by his Grandparents Minnie and Johnnie Thielen and Clara and Ernst Markert, and Ora Walker.

In addition to his parents he is survived by his special friend Lisa Davis, Aunts, Agnes Thielen, Mollie Walker and Dorothy Van De Berg, Uncle John Thielen and wife Beverly, brother-in-law Jack Patterson, cousins, dear friends, and church family.

The family wishes to thanks all who helped during Jerry’s illness including the nurses and staff at Cancer Infusion at Methodist Outpatient Hospital, AMED Hospice, and his loyal caring aides Denise, Stephanie, LaVonda and Ruby.

Visitation with the family will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at Grand View Funeral Home located at 8501 Spencer Highway, Pasadena, Texas 77505. Services will be 10:30 AM Thursday, July 21, 2016 at South Main Baptist Church, 4300 East Sam Houston Parkway S, Pasadena, Texas 77505. Graveside services will be at a later date.
