Jeanette Kay Naranjo

On December 31, 1956, Jeanette Naranjo, born to Kenneth and Ruby Forsythe in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, immediately brought joy and laughter into the world. Jeanette went on to graduate from Henrietta M. King High School in 1975.

In 1974 she met Raul Naranjo Jr, and the two were inseparable from that moment on. Jeanette and Raul were married for over 41 years and had eight children: Jennifer, Marisa, Raul, Michelle, Dianna, Andrew, Brandon, and Kevin.

Jeanette was a fiercely dedicated mother to all her children, raising all eight of them to go on and accomplish great things. For Jeanette, family always came first and was a value she instilled in all those around her. The hole left by her absence is impossible to fill.

Jeanette was preceded in death by her parents Kenneth and Ruby Forsythe, sister Diana Forsythe, loving husband Raul Naranjo Jr. and grandson Collin Naranjo. She is survived by Jennifer Naranjo, Marisa and Paul Bryan, Raul and Ashley Naranjo III, Michelle and Stephen Ybarra, Dianna and T.R. Owen, Andrew and Crissy Naranjo, Brandon and Molly Naranjo, and Kevin and Cynthia Naranjo; grandchildren Annalise Owen, Peyton Bryan, Emerson Naranjo, Thomas Owen IV, Scarlett Naranjo and Kevin R Naranjo; brother Kenneth Forsythe Jr.

Shortly after her passing, her youngest child Kevin Naranjo joined his Mother and Father in heaven. A joint service will be held for Jeanette Naranjo and Kevin Naranjo at First Baptist Church of Pasadena on Friday, September 24, 2021 at 11 am in the Chapel.
