James David Womack, 64, of Seabrook, Texas, passed away on May 9th, 2024. He was born in Birmingham, Alabama, on February 23rd, 1960, to Gerald Randal Womack and Dorothy Willette Womack. David was married to Marybell Womack for 10 years.
David dedicated his career to serving as an Occupational Health and Safety Lead for Covestro in the chemical industry. His commitment to ensuring the well-being of others extended beyond the workplace, as he was a valued member of the Baytown Homeless Shelter Board of Directors. His passion for helping others was evident in every aspect of his life.
In addition to his professional endeavors, David found joy in various hobbies, including traveling, riding his motorcycle, hiking, and running. He cherished moments spent with his family and beloved dogs, finding solace and happiness in their company.
David was preceded in death by his parents, Gerald Randal Womack and Dorothy Willette Womack, and his sister Janice Womack. He is survived by his devoted wife, Marybell Womack; his stepdaughters, Vanessa Valencia (Raymundo) and Danelly Aceves; his step-granddaughter, Lila R. Valencia; his brother, William R. Womack; his sisters, Bonnie Lynn Weiss and Judith Jones (Paul); and several nieces and nephews.
David's legacy of kindness, generosity, and dedication will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and the community he served.
